We install Isolation Valves on every unit so you (or we) can perform the mandatory annual vinegar flush to remove scale. If you aren’t willing to do this maintenance, we recommend sticking with a tank.
The unit is only half the equation. Tankless units require 3 to 4 times more gas than a standard tank. This often requires upgrading your gas piping. They also require dedicated electrical outlets, new stainless steel venting (you cannot use your old chimney vent), and condensate drains. The price includes the “retrofit” work to make your home compatible with the machine.
